Tamadun Association plays a vital role in improving access to quality healthcare in underserved regions of South Lebanon, Bekaa and Nabatieh Districts. Through Rafic Hariri Primary Health Care (PHC) Center in Chebaa and the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) operating across Hasbaya and Al Arkoub villages, Tamadun delivers essential health services to displaced populations, vulnerable host communities, and remote villages with limited infrastructure. The PHC Center provides a wide range of services including general medicine, pediatrics, reproductive and maternal health, vaccinations, chronic disease management, and mental health support. Complementing this, the MMU ensures that individuals living in isolated areas receive timely medical attention, health education, and follow-up care. All services are provided by doctors, licensed medical professionals and adhere to national and humanitarian health standards. Special attention is given to the needs of persons with disability, women, children, and the elderly, and services are offered at little or no cost to remove financial barriers. The health team also works closely with local authorities to strengthen community health awareness and disease prevention.
